In August of 1923, Gov. Pat Neff ordered the Texas Rangers to descend on Glen Rose, Texas, and arrest 50 of the top citizens of Somervell County, including the County Sheriff and County Attorney.  Prosecutions went according to the book until the "Snitch" was murdered during the trial of the County Attorney.
